Soooo, not such a good morning. This is really just for me to vent through writing, since I've already told my roommate about my blargh day.
I woke up and realized I had no breakfast food so I went to class on an empty stomach (bad, BAD IDEA) at 9:00 am. I spent most of the class dizzy and nauseous and basically not paying much attention. Also, my bank called in the middle of class and left an automated message telling me to call them back at this number.
So after class I called them, only to be directed to another automated voicemail except they were apparently expecting a call from someone who was not me, but another chick. Needless to say, I was not happy.
I had another class to go to, so I turned around to pass through the usually open doorways to walk down the stairs and I just flat bang my nose against the one glass door that wasn't open. I reeled back and leaned against the wall, clutching my nose and now feeling even woozier than before. Some chick was grinning and staring straight at me, and didn't even ask me if I was okay. Needless to say I wanted to shove my very nice Timbaland boots up her ass which I got for my birthday last year.
Anyway, it took me a full two minutes of me groaning and clutching my nose before I felt stable enough to start walking again. I was glad my TA didn't leave the classroom and see me (I'm guessing he had another class in there?) because that would have been embarrassing.
So, I was 7 minutes late for Latin, but it's not like I was in any state to even pay attention. I just spent my time rubbing the bridge of my nose and reading Cracked.com articles from my iTouch underneath the desk. Yeah, good job studying for finals, me! WOO!
After class, my nose was still achey and called the bank at their main office so I could talk to someone. They said apparently I needed to renew my client card for some reason (why? Is it not valid anymore? What?) and while I was on the phone with them, I ended up far away from the student union building where I was planning on having lunch, but there was a Tim Hortons there. Of course, the line was ridiculous because it was in between classes; also, I had absolutely no money in my wallet. So I ended up walking to the first year dorm where I stayed in last year and pushed out money from the machine there (with a $2.00 withdrawal fee, WTF) before going to the caf. As a respite, I got some surprisingly good garlic bread with lentil and vegetable stew. Then, I was about to leave the commons block only to realize I was headed in the complete opposite direction of where I was meant to go.
So now it's 1:30 pm, my nose still aches if I touch it, and I'm debating whether to go to the bank today or do it tomorrow and finish my homework which I thought was due yesterday and thus did a shoddy job of it, of which I have no time to fix completely (since it's artwork).
On the plus side, new episode of Glee tonight, WOOHOO! And tomorrow I am invited to watch auditions for a shirtless male calendar that is done every year at one of the first-year dorms and they are sold for charity.
