raemia has extracted up to Gen. 4 of the Picklesworths for me so now they can be downloaded, yaaay! I have their sims2pack files. I also have their .package files for those of you who don't have Clean Installer and you can just put those in your SavedSims folder. Credit is nice but not necessary. So long as you aren't claiming them as your own, go nuts! I added stats but you can play around with those. If you want to show me what shenanigans they get up to in your game, drop me a line! :]

So I know I had a brief Sims revival, but my game seems to have crashed again, and this time in a very bad way. First my Sims disappeared, and then I couldn't move lots (which also ended up disappearing if I tried to plop them down somewhere new). And it wasn't just this hood, but every single hood got corrupted this way. I even tried to fix the default hoods at least, but those don't seem to be working.
Honestly, I think my game is beyond salvation at this point and I'm not sure it'll be possible to fix. I was told that TS2 is pretty risky on a Mac and they were right in my case. I didn't seem to have these problems on my old laptop, so maybe the game is just too old to function on here? I dunno, but for now I'm going to have to stop because it's getting a bit frustrating.
I don't want to abandon the Sims completely because I have been hooked on this franchise since TS1 way back when. TS4 probably won't come out for Macs for a good while and everyone seems pretty damn apprehensive about that. I might look into getting TS3, which is probably cheaper now than when it first came out.
Other than that, my summer's going pretty well and I'll just play other games in the meantime (anybody into Guild Wars 2?) So go forth and sim for I cannot! Hopefully I'll be able to update on here soon.

Guess who got some free time during the holidays? FINALLY. I HAVE RISEN FROM ACADEMIA. So I decided to start a prosperity challenge. MAKES SENSE, RIGHT?

Hahahaha, yeah... Had to rebuild in another hood because it borked again. So basically halfway through this update everyone is in a different hood. And I sort of half-assed this one out of frustration. THANKS MAC.
